We have had a busy month preparing some great activities at ICRA. Make sure you apply for them on time! Even if you cannot make it this year, we will soon span off another set of contests and professional events. Don't forget to recommend seminar lecturers and to send us your most remarkable code. The RAS SAC always welcomes you!!

NEW program for students at ICRA

As we have detailed in previous newsletters RAS SAC has worked hard to prepare great activities for ICRA students atendees. There are new activities now where you can join us!!

  • Student Group Picture

    There will be a student group picture taking event on Thursday right after the Awards Lunch. Weather permitting, we would like to get out of the hotel to a nearby photo spot. Details will be announced later.

  • Student Photo Contest

    This year, everyone is invited to submit their best conference shots through the official ICRA site! In addition, the ICRA Student Photo Contest is a seasonal amateur photography competition, which is open to ICRA undergraduate and graduate student attendees. Three winners will be announced. To participate in the contest just follow the guidelines on the ICRA site!

Looking for more volunteers at ICRA

In order to ensure the smooth organization of the events, the local organizers of ICRA2010 are looking for more student activists helping out in the Egan Center. Contributors will receive a free t-shirt and a personal certificate.
If you have some time, please consider signing up for any of the following time-slots:

- Saturday, May 1, 2010 10am-3pm; 12pm-5pm
- Sunday, May 2, 2010 10am-2pm
- Monday, May 3, 2010 7:30am-1:45pm; 1:30pm-7:30pm
- Tuesday, May 4, 2010 7:30am-12:45pm; 12:30pm-15:30pm; 4:30pm-9:30pm
- Wednesday, May 5, 2010 7:30am-12:45pm; 12:30pm-15:30pm; 4:30pm-9:30pm
- Thursday, May 6, 2010 7:30am-1pm; 12:45pm-6:30pm
- Friday, May 7, 2010 8am-1pm; 12:30pm-5:30pm

Send your availability to head of the LOC Jeffrey Miller. If you can only work part of a shift, please indicate the time you are available.
